WHO WE ARE

We are João and Mariana — life and travel companions.

Together we've explored more than 55 countries and realized that the most memorable part was never the places, but the people and shared moments.

We created Lusco-Fusco with a clear purpose: to offer soulful getaways for those 60 and over, who want to live retirement with curiosity, lightness and joy.

We want to be a community where each trip is the highlight of the month — made with time, good conversations and new friends.

Travel slowly. Feel everything. And return lighter but with new stories.

JOÃO, 30

I have a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I realized early on that my path wouldn't be guided just by formulas — but rather, by my connection with the World and the desire to share it with others.

Today, I'm certain I've found my purpose: creating meaningful experiences and helping other people (re)discover the joy of traveling, even when they thought they'd already seen everything.

MARIANA, 32

Passionate about the world, I've lived in Canada, Mexico, London and Rome, and I can't count on my fingers the friends who have visited Sri Lanka, Guatemala and the Philippines with my itineraries.

After 10 years in the management world, I traded certainty for uncertainty with a one-way ticket to Asia — and it was on that transformative journey that I met retired travelers exploring the world at their own pace, fighting loneliness and rediscovering that life can be an adventure at any age.

We create all-inclusive getaways for those who want to live more, laugh more and discover more — always in good company.

We want to be the reference community for 65+ travelers in Portugal, showing that it's never too late to collect stories, make new friends and feel part of something bigger.
